Esko Adventures provides trekking guide services for small groups travelling in Northern Lapland. These trek tours are arranged year round — in the summer by canoes or feet and in the winter by skis. All inclusive or partly organized by you.

I'm Esko, Your Guide to the Wild

Let me introduce myself. My name is Esko Aarnio, the founder of Esko Adventures guiding services.

Earlier I use to travel travel and do trekking around our beautiful globe. In 2004 I found the best place to settle down with my family. In my opinion, Inari is the best place in the world for outdoor enthusiasts: a lot of fascinating wild nature creamed with easy going people and every mans rights. Inari has also rich culture thanks to indigenous Sámi people. Esko Adventures business started soon after, in late 2005.

I love skiing, canoeing and hiking in the nature. The idea to offer guiding services for other people was a logical choice. Especially when I got to know to older guides who liked to transfer their knowledge. I like to show people the most enjoyable ways to the heart of the nature and I believe many would enjoy trekking in the untouched nature — if they only had someone to show the way.

Northern Lapland & Finnmark have given me so much. It is difficult to describe the feeling of being far from civilization. Peaceful, beautiful and rich.
